Susan Dell’Osso is the President of River Islands Development, LLC one of the largest privately-held land development companies in California. Ms. Dell’Osso has been involved for more than 30 years in the entitlement and development of the 4,800-acre mixed use master planned community, River Islands in Lathrop. River Islands is planned with a mix of 11,000 residences, seven schools, a 350-acre business park and downtown retail. Ms. Dell’Osso’s vision has led to the implementation of new water, energy and solar standards throughout the community. She is actively working with regional leaders to bring about a high-speed, clean-energy link to BART to reduce traffic and pollution in the area. Ms. Dell’Osso is the Chair of the San Joaquin Partnership, the county’s economic development agency; Chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee for the California Building Industry Association; President of the River Islands Technology Academy charter school board; and co-owner of the Central Valley’s major agritainment operator and family farm business.
