Jaunt Air Mobility LLC is developing an all-electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft designed for the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and On-Demand Mobility (ODM) markets. Jaunt Air Mobility is a Reduced-rotor Operating Speed Aircraft (ROSA™) with core technologies proven in over 250 hours of successful demonstration flights and represents the merger of the best features available from both helicopters and fixed-wing airplanes. The ROSA™ technologies include several innovative features that result in the quietest, safest, and most efficient hovering aircraft of any configuration currently being developed for UAM missions. These patented features, which allow Jaunt to operate at efficiently low tip speeds compared to conventional designs, include a 70% reduction in main rotor tip speed from hover to cruise flight, a high energy inertia rotor system and a high static thrust scimitar propeller design. In addition, Jaunt provides the safety of a fly-by-wire flight control system and the comfort of Jaunt’s patented LevelFlyTM technology, a mast tilting capability which facilitates management of the aircraft attitude throughout its flight envelope and provides a generous center of gravity (c.g.) envelope. JAM represents flight-proven aircraft technologies that are the next evolution to existing helicopters - the gold standard in hovering efficiency.
